How a project runs
Site assessment and planning
We walk the facility and look at how it actually works: where people sit and collaborate, which areas need wired connections, where wireless coverage matters, where phones and cameras and access control will live, where the network closets are, and what growth is expected.
That assessment drives outlet locations, cable counts, pathway choices, and telecom room design.
Copper and fiber design
Most plans combine category-rated copper with fiber backbones where they earn their place.
Cat6 and Cat6A for workstations, phones, wireless access points, and cameras. Cat6 handles most office environments; Cat6A is selected for higher bandwidth, longer 10-gigabit links, or demanding PoE applications.
Fiber for long runs within large buildings, between buildings, or where electrical interference or distance makes copper the wrong answer.
Installation to standard
Proper bend radius on copper and fiber. Appropriate pathways and supports. Protection from damage and electrical interference. Required separation from power. Clean terminations to patch panels and outlets. Racks organized so future service does not require untangling someone else’s shortcuts.
We treat telecom and network rooms as operational infrastructure — power, grounding, access, environmental conditions, and enough room for a technician to work.
Testing, labeling, documentation
Every link is tested. Cables, jacks, and patch panel ports are labeled. Documentation maps outlets, cable routes, patch panels, and equipment locations.
This is the part clients underestimate and then rely on for a decade. Good documentation turns a two-hour troubleshooting call into a ten-minute one.
Coordination with everything else
Cabling gets planned alongside phones, wireless, cameras, access control, and alarm communication, so voice traffic has suitable cabling and switching, access points have the right cable and PoE, security devices have reliable network paths, and future additions do not require reworking what is already installed.

Unplanned or aging cabling produces predictable problems: slow or unreliable network performance, VoIP quality complaints, patchy wireless coverage, difficulty adding cameras or access control, and expensive disruption when walls have to come open later.
